(Washington, DC) –Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s purse was stolen as she dined at a D.C restaurant on Sunday night. Inside that purse reportedly was $3,000 in cash, her passport, checks and her DHS door pass. Noem was out with her family at the time for Easter dinner. The DC police department says they did not know about the theft until it went public. News Nation says the Secret Service is handling the investigation.
Secret Service reportedly reviewed footage from a camera in the restaurant and say a man wearing a mask grabbed the purse and walked out. So far, no sign of him.
