(Brooklyn, NY) — Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial will proceed as scheduled following an attempt by his defense to get it delayed.
A federal judge decided Friday (April 18, 2025) that the disgraced hip hop mogul’s trial will start as planned on May 5th. Diddy’s lawyers argued that they should have another 60 days to prepare their defense arguments.
The indictment against Diddy was expanded for a third time to include new charges of sex trafficking and engaging in prostitution. But the judge ruled that the new charges weren’t significant enough to warrant a two-month delay.
