(New York, NY) — Just in time for spring, the new Davis Center at Harlem Meer is set to open on April 26th. Construction started in 2021 to replace the former Lasker Riank and Pool, which was built in the 1960s. Now, there will be a new ice skating rink in the winter and a new pool for the summer and a space for tourists and visitors all year long. There will also be a boardwalk. The project cost 160-million-dollars.
The grand opening is set for April 26th, complete with activities to celebrate the new addition. The Davis Center is located at the northern end of the park just south of 110th Street.
