(New York, NY) — The McDonald’s snack wrap is coming back. The popular menu item hasn’t been available since 2019. The fast food company teased fans on “X” that the wraps could return before October. McDonald’s US president Joe Erlinger said late last year that the company was planning to bring them back in 2025. Citing competitive reasons, Erlinger wasn’t given a specific date.
McDonald’s is also introducing a new chicken strip and the McCrispy chicken sandwich will be available in more markets this year. The move confirms the company’s efforts to lean into chicken items on its menus.
