(Stanford, CA) — Stanford University and Princeton are joining Harvard in responding to the Trump administration’s demands. The administration is requiring Harvard to eliminate DEI programs, impacting hiring and admissions.
The president and provost at Stanford says to create positive change, we shouldn’t harm scientific research or allow the government to control private organizations. As Harvard refuses, the Department of Education has frozen over two billion dollars in federal funding.
Trump later posted on social media that he would consider ending Harvard’s tax exempt status if it continues to support what he called “political, ideological and terrorist inspired” policies.
