(New York, NY) — Saturday Night Live is going international. The iconic NBC comedy, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, is launching a version in London. The London show will have a cast of Brits and follow the same version as its American counterpart, complete with Weekend Update.
Lorne Michaels, who’s the big honcho of SNL in New York, will also be the executive producer of the UK show, which is set to premiere in 2026. He’ll continue to also helm the NYC show.
