(New York, NY) – Starting today you can get a fancy treat at Pizza Hut. Well this isn’t exactly a pie but those with a taste for the finer things can try caviar pizza pearls at the Pizza hut on 8th avenue – a few blocks south of Columbus circle. The imitation fish eggs are specially flavored to taste like pepperoni. It’s part of a special deal called the “Pizza Caviar Bump Box”, including a personal pan pizza, boneless wings or fries – all topped with the pepperoni pearls.
The limited-time menu item was inspired by a trend online known as caviar bumps where people forgo the traditional mother of pearl spoon and eat a helping right off their hands. The total price comes to 20 bucks versus a tin of popular Ossetra will set you back 165 dollars.
