(New York, NY) — They’re calling it spring’s “retail blackout.” It’s when stores will be closing on Easter Sunday for 24 hours. On Sunday, April 20th, major retailers including Target won’t be open. Other stores include Costco, Aldi and Sam’s Club.
The retailers say they want to give their employees a chance to spend time with their families. There’s been a growing trend for major retailers to give their workers a break for the holiday. Many stores have been doing this on Christmas Day as well.
