(Newark, NJ) — New Jersey health officials are very concerned over a potential measles exposure at Newark Airport last week. The Department of Health says someone who was infected with the highly contagious virus, was in Newark Airport’s Terminal A on March 25th and on March 27th, even waiting at a Starbucks before leaving.
The Health Department also reports the same infected individual spent time in Park Ridge and Paramus, staying at the Marriott Park Ridge, visiting the Starbucks on Kinderkamack Road, and eating at Sean O’Casey’s Irish pub before heading to a local hospital to be checked out. Doctors are urging anyone who believes they’ve been exposed to measles to call their medical provider before heading out to public places.
