(Houston, TX) — NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore says he doesn’t want to point fingers to place blame for him and fellow astronaut Suni Williams getting stuck in space for nine months. In an interview with Fox News, Wilmore said he’d rather look forward and figure out how to fix those problems. The two astronauts returned to Earth earlier this month after encountering issues with the Boeing Starliner.
Williams said her first thought when they found out they wouldn’t be coming home when they expected was, “We just got to pivot.” Wilmore said he focused on “national goals” rather than on his own feelings, saying “It’s not about me.”
