According to one pet specialist, cat health is still considered ” a bit of a niche interest.” One reason may be that dogs seem to go to the vet more often, so more effort has been put on the health of dogs.
The good news is that vet schools are putting more money into studying cat health. In addition, more scientists are studying the causes of cat diseases.
