(Tampa, FL) — Butch Wilmore and Sunny Williams are finally on their way back home. The two astronauts, who spent far longer aboard the International Space Station than they planned are aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule that undocked from the International Space Station early Tuesday morning. If all goes according to plan, splashdown off the Florida coast is expected just before six p.m. Tuesday night.

NASA says there’s no special celebration planned for the two astronauts who went up to the International Space Station last June for a ten day stay, but ended up stuck in space when the Boeing rocket they came up on was deemed unsafe to fly back to earth.

They pair are riding home on a SpaceX rocket that brought four fresh astronauts to the International Space Station on Saturday night.
