(New York, NY) – A saga that the country has been following for months, the two American astronauts on the International Space Station are getting ready to come back home to Earth. Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams first took off nine months ago, but their return trip was delayed following technical issues with their Boeing Starliner Spacecraft. The Boeing ship returned unmanned to Earth while they awaited the arrival of a SpaceX capsule. Saturday night, the returning rocket docked at the ISS. The commanding member of the arriving crew had some fun by showing up in an alien mask.

The two NASA astronauts will come back with two Russian cosmonauts who have been on the ISS since last September. The splashdown date is expected to be Wednesday, but nothing has been set in stone pending weather conditions.
