New York, NY) — Luigi Mangione, the man accused of murdering the CEO of United Health back in December is asking his fans to stop flooding him with photos, while he sits in a Brooklyn federal jail. Luigi is making the appeal on his fundraising website. The 25-year-old says he appreciates the photos that are sent and kindly asks that people send no more than five photos at a time.
Mangione says that it’s impossible for him to respond to most letters written to him, but he thanks people for sending them and says he reads them all. People have donated hundreds of thousand of dollars to his defense fund.
Mangione has pleaded not guilty to murder charges in connection with the shooting death of CEO Brian Thompson outside a New York City hotel in December.
