(Los Angeles, CA) — A ride share app that’s been dubbed “an Uber With Guns” is now available in New York City. “Protector” allows users to summon an on-demand ride that comes complete with bodyguards who are armed. The bodyguards are military and law enforcement professionals who have fired off all kinds of weapons.
Users can choose the number of protectors they want during their ride and pick up to three vehicles to be included in their motorcade. There are four options to pick from for the bodyguards’ dress code. They range from business casual, which is a lighter suit with no tie, to operator, which is a full-on SWAT outfit.
The app costs $129.00 per year. Each ride is priced according to its duration and the number of guards.
