(New York, NY) – Mayor Eric Adams made a special appearance on WABC’s “Cats and Cosby” show Thursday (Feb. 13th). In the exclusive interview, the Mayor discussed his meeting with Trump Border Czar Tom Homan, and how the two can work together.
Adams talked with Rita Cosby, saying he wants to re-establish the ability for ICE agents to operate on Riker’s Island, with agents specifically focusing on assisting the correctional intelligence bureau in their criminal investigations, in particular those focused on violence criminals and gangs.
The Mayor also said Homan assured him that ICE agents wouldn’t enter sensitive locations like schools and shelters without a judicial warrant.
When asked if he thinks he’ll win re-election he answered with a resounding YES! He’ll speak TO New Yorkers, not about what he will do, but about his established record, saying he’ll run on one word: Opportunity.
