(New York, NY)Â — New Yorkers’ outlook on the city’s future seem to be just as bleak as this winter weather. A poll from Honan Strategy Group finds 75-percent of Democrats believe New York City is in crisis and their main concern is crime. Â At least 45-percent of respondents say they plan to leave New York City if things get worse. 85-percent of people surveyed think embattled New York City Mayor Adams should not run for re-election.
The poll of Democrats also finds the former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who has yet to announce a run for mayor, and the current Mayor, Eric Adams are the most recognizable names in the November mayoral race.
Politicians Scott Stringer and Andrew Cuomo receive the highest favorability ratings among Democrats. Eric Adams and Donald Trump lead with the highest unfavorability ratings.
