NY: Subway riding in New York
(New York, NY) — NYPD cops are searching for three people who took an R train on a joyride Sunday night, hitting speeds of 30 miles per hour and blowing through at least one subway station. Police believe the three stole the subway from a train yard in Brooklyn. Once they were inside, the wanted joyriders put black marker over security cameras. Police believe they drove the train on the local tracks through one station and ignored a signal.
The thieves eventually brought the train back to the yard where it was found. So far, police have been unable to find them.
