Caroline Kennedy, the daughter of former President John F. Kennedy, says her cousin RFK Jr. is unfit to serve as secretary of Health and Human Services. Kennedy said RFK Jr. “lacks any relevant government, financial, management or medical experience” to qualify him for the position, and that his personal qualities are an “even greater concern.”
She added that her cousin has lied and cheated his way through life, and led many of his own family members “down the path of substance abuse.” She also criticized his hypocrisy for making money from his “crusade against vaccinations” while vaccinating his own kids, calling his medical views “dangerous and willfully misinformed”, calling him a predator.
Former US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy strongly urged senators in a video message posted on X to reject President Trump’s nominee, just one day before the first of two high-stakes Senate hearings.
