(New York, NY) — The Center for Jewish History in New York City is opening an exhibit that recreates the rooms Anne Frank and her family hid in during the Holocaust. It’s the first time the exhibit will be on display outside of Amsterdam. It includes handwritten notes from Frank, who famously recorded her life in hiding in her diary before she was killed in a Nazi concentration camp.
Her diary is one of the most translated books in the world. The exhibit opens on Holocaust Remembrance Day, January 27th, and will run through the end of April.
