(Washington, DC) — Members of the Biden family have received pardons as one of Joe Biden’s final acts as president. In a statement, Biden said, “My family has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats.” He went on to say he has no reason to believe those attacks will end.
Those who received pardons include his brothers James Biden and Francis Biden along with his sister, Valerie Biden Owens. Biden said, “Even when individuals have done nothing wrong and will ultimately be exonerated, the mere fact of being investigated or prosecuted can irreparably damage their reputations and finances.”
President Biden also issued pre-emptive pardons for General Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci and members of the January 6th congressional committee.
