(New York,, NY) – There’s a suspect on the loose in the city and he has a unique M.O. that’s already earned him a nickname from the NYPD. Called “Haggler After Midnight”, the suspect is accused of robbing suspects and negotiating with them, picking and choosing which items to steal. Since November 7th, the haggler has gone after 11 people in Brooklyn and Queens. Most victims are Hispanic men between the ages of 20 and 40.

The haggler is bilingual – and orders his victims around at knife-point. He is mostly interested in cash and electronics according to police. Surveillance footage shows him approaching on a blue or dark colored moped. The latest reported incident took place on December 10th where he held a knife to the victim’s throat. Luckily, nobody has been injured. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
