(Washington, D.C.) — Today is a National Day of Mourning for former president Jimmy Carter. A state funeral for the 39th president is being held at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. President Biden will deliver a eulogy. Every living president is expected to be in attend. Carter, who died on December 29th at the age of 100, has been lying in state for two days inside the Capitol rotunda, where dignitaries, celebrities and members of the public have been lining up to pay their final respects. After the funeral, Carter’s body will be returned to Plains, Georgia, where he will be laid to rest next to his wife Rosalynn
