(Florham Park, NJ) — The Jets may bring back former coach Rex Ryan to lead the team. Ryan interviewed with the Jets Tuesday for the head coaching job. During a radio appearance earlier in the week Ryan said if he returns to the Jets he will be sure to put an end to what he calls the Aaron Rodgers “country club.” Ryan criticized the organization’s leadership for allowing Rodgers to take a vacation and skip mandatory minicamp last June.
During his six seasons with the gang green, Ryan led the team to a 46-and-50 record and back to back AFC Championship game appearances in 2009 and 2010. The 62-year-old met with the Jets front office in Florida.
