(New York, NY) — Federal prosecutors say they have uncovered more dirt on Mayor Eric Adams, that’s on top of the bribery charges he is already facing. They did not detail what criminal behavior they found, but the mayor says he’s an honest man and suggests these new charges are all like the old ones, all political.
Federal prosecutors claim they have identified additional individuals involved with Adams’ conduct. Adams already pleaded not guilty to corruption charges. When asked about the new allegations yesterday, Adams continued to insist he’s done nothing wrong and says he’s focused on running the city. His attorney Alex Spiro commented saying quote, “This is amateur hour. They are just looking for a headline.”
