(Washington, DC) — President-elect Trump’s border czar says protecting children is a main driver behind the expected “zero-tolerance” border policy. Tom Homan says the Biden administration put thousands of kids at risk with lax border enforcement policies. The Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General reported that at least 300-thousand migrant children basically disappeared off the radar during the Biden-Harris administration. Homan says that many are sold into sex-trafficking and will never be found.
It’s something the Border Patrol Union has been warning about. They say the cartels use children to create fake families, which get special treatment. The kids, they say, then slip through the cracks. This comes as Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced new billboards, being erected south of the border, which spotlight the risk that migrant girls face.
