(Washington. D.C) — Lawmakers in D.C. got a classified briefing about the drones on Tuesday. Many of them came out of that sit down with Homeland Security satisfied that the unmanned aircraft don’t seem to pose a threat. So, why wont they share what they heard at the meeting with the rest of us? New Jersey State Senator Jon Bramnick says those in D.C. owe it to his constituents, who are frightened to give them solid answers about the unmanned aircraft flying across the state at night.
The FBI is asking people in New Jersey to stop shinning lasers in the skies at the drones, because they are also hitting the cockpit of pilots in manned aircraft. One pilot in Hunterdon County had to abandon a landing at an airport there after he was blinded by one of the lasers over the weekend. The FBI is also worried that some, who are worried about the drones will shoot at them. So far, there are no confirmed reports of anyone firing off bullets at the aircarft.
