(New York, NY) — Black Friday has come and gone and U.S. shoppers spent around ten-point-eight billion dollars online on Friday alone. Adobe Analytics says that number is ten percent higher than Black Friday 2023. Meanwhile, Cyber Monday could be the year’s biggest online shopping day, with Adobe saying Americans could easily spend upwards of 13-billion dollars today.
The FBI is warning online holiday shoppers to beware of scam websites. They have a checklist of how not to be fooled, like avoiding websites that don’t have a padlock in the address bar, meaning the website is not secure. The experts also say don’t buy from a website until you have researched it and read reviews on it, and make sure the reviews aren’t fake.
