(New York, NY) — Rehearsals are well underway for the 98th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday. There are two run throughs before the big day, which include nearly two dozen floats, 17 balloons, eleven marching bands, and 600 cheerleaders. Rehearsals allow directors to find the right camera angle and performers to find the right spots, but they’ll all have to prepare for the possibility of rain. Organizers say the two-and-a-half mile parade to get to Macy’s flagship store is on rain or shine.
T-Pain, Idina Menzel, and The Temptations are just some big names set to perform, along with the Rockettes and Jimmy Fallon and The Roots. Santa Clause closes out the whole show.
