(New York, NY) – The former Florida Congressman is now on the website Cameo following his withdrawal from consideration to join the Trump administration as Attorney General. Gaetz withdrew his name following controversy regarding a House Ethics Committee investigation into claims of child sex abuse and trafficking. Several GOP Senators announced they would not support the nomination, prompting Gaetz to pull his name from the nomination.
Gaetz created the account on the site where public figures can sell personalized video messages. Some of the videos already visible on his account include pep talks, congratulations and birthday wishes. His profile bio reads: “I served in Congress. Trump nominated me to be US Attorney General (that didn’t work out). Once I fired the House Speaker.” Gaetz is charging $525 per video. He follows the lead of another former Republican Congressman, George Santos, who joined the platform following his expulsion from the House.
