(Rocky Point, NY) — Suffolk County cops are still searching for 23-year-old Matthew Zoll, who they say killed his own father in his Rocky Point home earlier this month. At first they thought Zoll was hiding out in the woods, but there has been no sign of him there. The hunt, that began back on November 9th has neighbors uneasy. They are worried Zoll could return to the house. One neighbor says she wishes the Suffolk County police would give more frequent updates on the hunt for the alleged killer.
Family and friends will mourn 61-year-old Joseph Zoll on Wednesday at Rocky Point Funeral Home. A funeral Mass for Zoll is taking place at St. Anthony Of Padua Roman Catholic Church, in Rocky Point.
Police say Zoll was stabbed to death inside his home around 1:35 a.m. on November 9th. There is no word on a motive for the murder.
