(Ontario, CA) — Adidas is signing its first-ever name, image and likeness deal with a girls’ high school basketball player. On Thursday, the sports apparel brand announced its signing of 16-year-old Kaleena Smith, a sophomore at Ontario Christian High School in Ontario, California. Smith is a five-star recruit and the highest-rated recruit in the class of 2027. She already has offers from nearly 20 college programs, including USC, UCLA, LSU, UConn and Louisville. Smith is also one of the youngest female athletes to ever sign with Adidas.
