(Haddon Heights, NJ) — Voters are saying “yes” to allowing alcohol sales in a dry South Jersey town. In Haddon Heights, New Jersey they voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to let the booze flow. The town has been dry for 120 years, no bars or liquor stores, but that’s about to change.

Residents have okayed a consumption license measure allowing the sale of alcoholic beverages by license holders both on and off their premises. The mayor supports the move saying it’ll be beneficial to the community.
