(New York, NY) — The Yankees fell apart Wednesday night with an error filled inning in the Bronx that handed the World Series crown to the Dodgers. Manager Aaron Boone says this one hurts bad
because the team had so much promise this season.
The Yankees jumped out to a five nothing lead in part thanks to an Aaron Judge homer. However, the Bronx Bombers couldn’t hang on and lost 7-6. They lost the series four games to one. The Dodgers Freddie Freeman was named Most Valuable Player after hitting four home runs in the series and picking up 12 RBIs.
The Dodgers now go home to L.A. to celebrate with a big parade on Friday.
