(Washington, D.C.) — President Biden surprised many on Tuesday when he called all Trump supporters “garbage” during a campaign call with Kamala Harris supporters. Biden made the comments while chatting it up with the group, Voto Latino. He had told them during the call that former President Trump doesn’t care about the Latino community. Biden’s comments come after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke at Trump’s rally in New York on Sunday, in which he called Puerto Rico. a floating island of garbage.
There was plenty of talk about Puerto Rico during former president Trump’s rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania Tuesday night. Trump promised to deliver the best future for Puerto Ricans and all Hispanic Americans. HIs rally in the Hispanic-majority city comes two days after Hinchcliffe’s joke. The former President said he had never heard of the comedian before the rally, and did not like his humor. Census data shows there are almost 500-thousand residents of Puerto Rican decent in Pennsylvania.
