(Danbury, CT) — Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon has been released from a Connecticut prison just a week before the presidential election. Bannon walked out of the federal lockup in Danbury just before dawn Tuesday morning. His daughter Maureen picked him up.
The conservative podcaster served 120 days for contempt of Congress, specifically for failing to comply with its investigation into the January 6th, 2021 U.S. Capitol riots. He says, now that he is out he’ll re-energize his “War Room” podcast to get Trump voters to the polls.
