(New York, NY) — The NYPD is searching for a man who tried to rape a woman in Central Park over the weekend. Cops say the attack happened around 5 a.m. Saturday morning near 85 East Drive in the northern end of the park. Police say a 38-year-old woman was pushed by an unknown man over a metal fence, then punched in the face over and over while he attempted to rape her. EMS took the victim to the hospital where she was listed in stable condition.
The NYPD has released pictures of the wanted man, who raced away from the scene on a bicycle. Police believe he may be a food delivery man.
