(New York, NY) – Longtime film and television actor George Clooney is coming to Broadway. He will make his debut on the Great White Way this coming spring. An Oscar winner, Clooney will star in a stage adaptation of his film “Good Night, and Good Luck.” The story takes a look at the conflict between journalist Edward R. Murrow and dogged anti-Communist Senator Joseph McCarthy.
The stage version of “Good Night, and Good Luck” will open on Broadway on April 3, 2025. Clooney is set to portray Murrow in the play. In the film the role was played by actor David Strathairn. Nominated for six Academy Awards, the film also saw Clooney nominated for Best Director.
