(New York, NY) — Police are asking for help finding two men involved in two unprovoked attacks down below on the subways in the last week. Last Thursday, a straphanger was stabbed in the eye as he walked out of the Bay Ridge Avenue subway station around 4 in the morning. He was returning from a job working for a catering company. There was no one in the station to help the victim, so he had to call 911 as blood gushed out of his eye socket. The victim’s family says he will likely never get sight back in the eye.
On Sunday, A 25-year-old was slashed in the arm inside the 2nd Ave station on the Lower East Side. Police say it was a random attack. The victim is expected to be okay. The man who sliced him is still on the loose.
