(New York, NY) — A pro-Israel Columbia University professor has been banned from the school’s Upper West Side campus for harassing university employees. The university says Business School assistant professor Shai Davidai is temporarily blocked from school grounds for violating school policy. Davidai is accused of intimidating several faculty members during a campus Pro-Palestinian protest.
Davidai defended himself on Instagram, saying he is being banned from campus because he stood up to the anti-Israel protestors who took over the campus after the October 7th attacks in Israel.
A Columbia University spokesman says Davidai’s free speech rights had been protected, until he repeatedly harassed and intimidated University employees in violation of University policy.
