(Brooklyn, NY) – New York City is no stranger to fashion shows. And on Tuesday night, one of the more notorious such shows made its comeback. Amid changing standards in terms of beauty and body shape, Victoria’s Secret put a “pause” on its fashion shows. Now the sexy lingerie company is relaunching the program in Brooklyn.
Earlier this year, the retailer and popular brand announced a return of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — for the first time since 2018. Kicking off at 7 PM, the show was live streamed on social media platform Instagram. Amazon Live and its on-demand component Prime Video also carried the show.
Tyra Banks, the former longtime host of “America’s Next Top Model” and previous “Victoria’s Secret Angel,” planned to walk the runway. She hadn’t participated in a show in more than 20 years.
It’s an all-female lineup of performers for Victoria’s Secret. Pop music legend Cher is the headliner.
