(New York, NY) — A Queens family is suing a local funeral home after they promised to send their mother’s body to Ecuador for burial, but instead sent it to Guatemala. Manuel Minchala says he only found out about the mistake by watching a Tik Tok video, that showed a distraught family that had the wrong body in their casket. Minchala says the Rivera Funeral Home mixed of the body of his 96-year-old mom with that of a 38-year-old man and then shipped it to Guatemala.

Eventually, the mistake was fixed, but now Minchala wants the funeral home to pay for the family’s pain and suffering.
