(Pierre, SD) — A South Dakota woman’s body is believed to have been found inside a shark in Timor. The English newspaper, “The Sun” reports sixty-eight-year-old Colleen Monfore was reported missing last month off the coast of Indonesia. The paper says rescue teams searched for eight days before finally giving up back on October 3rd.
On Sunday, a fisherman reportedly found human remains believed to be Monfore in the belly of a shark in Timor-Leste. Indonesian officials say they are aware of the find inside a shark, and plan to do a complete investigation. They say details will be published soon.
