(Haifa, Israel) — Hezbollah terrorists fired over 100 rockets from Lebanon into the Haifa area Tuesday morning. There are reports that some rockets and shrapnel fell onto the port city. A 70-year-old woman was injured when pieces of a rocket hit her. The volley of rockets comes after the Israeli Air Force hit over 1,600 Hezbollah targets in Southern Lebanon as part of “Operation Northern Arrows.”
The Israeli military says they hit a terror cell that had launched rockets into Israel. They also say the launchers were taken apart in the barrage of attacks.
The Lebanese Health Ministry says more than 500 people have been killed in the Israeli attacks in Lebanon. It’s not clear how many of the dead in Lebanon are militants and how many are civilians.
