(New York, NY) – Officials with the FDNY are investigating a fire that broke out Saturday night just before 6 p.m. in the Bronx. The flames were coming from a five-story apartment building in the neighborhood of Bedford Park, right next to the New York Botanical Garden. 8 people, including a child, were injured in the blaze – luckily none of those injuries were life-threatening. 60 first responders were battling the fire for around 90 minutes.
Three electronic bikes were found at the scene, but firefighters are not sure if the e-bikes were the source of that fire. The fire marshal is investigating the situation.
