(New York, NY) — Despite New York City’s War on Rats, a new study shows that the Big Apple is the most rodent-infested city in the country. Terminix looked at which cities have been using the pest control company’s services most often and says the undesirable top spot goes to New York. San Francisco comes in at number two, followed by Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Washington, DC.
Meanwhile, Orkin recently ranked Chicago as the worst for rats, followed by Los Angeles and then New York. New York has been increasing its focus on rat control as of late, including the hiring of a “Rat Czar” and, most recently, hosting a National Urban Rat Summit this week.
