(New York, NY) – New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revealed that her Washington D.C. office was vandalized on Thursday after she criticized a recent attack in the Middle East. The attack involved pagers, linked to Hezbollah members, exploding in Lebanon, injuring thousands and killing dozens. Israel has not claimed responsibility, but Hezbollah blames Israel.

Ocasio-Cortez condemned the attack, calling it a violation of U.S. policy and international humanitarian law. In response, her office was tagged with post-it notes and signs accusing her of supporting terrorism.

In a post on X, Ocasio-Cortez responded: “They must live under a rock to not know I don’t take well to bullies.”

A second round of attacks involving other wireless devices occurred following the pager explosions. The congresswoman referenced the Department of Defense Law of War Manual, which prohibits using harmless devices as explosive weapons.

As of now, it’s unclear if any arrests have been made regarding the vandalism.
