(New York, NY) — Sean “Diddy” Combs is being denied bail and will remain detained in connection to his federal criminal case. Combs pleaded not guilty in a New York court Tuesday (September 17, 2024), looking dazed and without handcuffs, after a grand jury indicted him on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Prosecutors argued the hip hop and business mogul is a flight risk and a danger to the public saying he allegedly has a history of coercing witnesses. Combs had offered to post a 50-million-dollar bond and to wear a GPS monitor while limiting his travel to New York City and Miami. He is facing up to life in prison if convicted on all charges.
Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo says his client will be cleared of all charges and he plans to appeal.
