(New York, NY) — A Bensonhurst, Brooklyn laundromat worker is recovering after an irate customer stabbed her over and over again Monday, after she told him his laundry wasn’t ready for pick-up. The attack took place inside a wash and dry on Bath Avenue. The wanted customer jumped over the counter after the female worker told him he would have to come back later. EMTs rushed the victim to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn, where she in stable condition.
A worker at the wash and dry says the customer had come in early in the morning and was hoping to get his clean clothes back in the afternoon. He showed up at 2 p.m. and then became very angry when he was told he would have to wait a little longer. Police have clear pictures of the wanted man, but have not found him.
