It's a whale of a tale for RFK Jr. this time around.

(New York, NY) – If you couldn’t get enough of the story surrounding Robert F. Kennedy Junior and the black bear he left in Central Park — we’ve got something new to share. Apparently RFK Jr. didn’t just show  interest in bears — mammals of the sea also piqued his curiosity.

The latest story comes from a Trump campaign event on Saturday in Arizona, when RFK Jr. said the latest investigation into his dealings with wildlife are part of the “weaponization of our government.” Kennedy Jr. told the crowd he is being investigated for “collecting a whale specimen” sometime around 20 years ago. It was back in 2012 when RFK Jr.’s daughter told Town & Country Magazine that her dad cut off a whale’s head after it had washed ashore in Massachusetts.

Now, the National Marine Fisheries Institute had contacted the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration urging a full investigation into the alleged incident. All of it builds on the fact Kennedy acknowledged her dumped a dead bear cub in Central Park more than 10 years ago. At the time it was a big mystery as authorities couldn’t figure out where the bear came from. Kennedy Jr. said a New Yorker piece was going to blow the lid on the bear story so he fully disclosed it publicly instead.
